Hugh Jackman recently posted a video of his Deadpool & Wolverine workout, and now Channing Tatum’s reply has many hoping for a hotly anticipated X-Men team up in the MCU movie. Tatum was long expected to play Gambit in one of Fox’s X-Men movies, but the project got stuck in development for years. Eventually, it was canceled when Disney bought Fox, leaving many disappointed that Tatum would not get to play the Ragin’ Cajun.


However, now that Channing Tatum replied to Jackman’s Instagram post, there is speculation that he may still get to appear as Gambit.
