Elektra actor Élodie Yung was recently asked about a possible return in the MCU’s Daredevil: Born Again, and she seems very interested in the idea. Yung last played Elektra in The Defenders, where her character’s fate was left in question. It’s still unclear if all of Netflix’s Marvel content is canon, so Yung’s Elektra could easily still be included, even though her character seemed to die.

While talking with toofab, Élodie Yung said she would love to come back as Elektra but made sure to let fans know it wasn’t up to her. She urged anyone interested in seeing her return as Elektra to take it up with “Mr. Marvel” (likely referring to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige). Read her full comments below.

“Oh my gosh, I would love that. It’s so funny because my fans are like, ‘Can you come back?’ and I’m like, ‘Ask Mr. Marvel, you have to ask Mr. Marvel for that, not me.”

Yung is clearly enthusiastic about the idea of returning as Elektra, but unfortunately the return isn’t fully up to her. Still, if she is approached, it seems likely Yung would agree to come back.
