The series follows Lunella Lafayette, who uses her incredible intelligence to open a portal that accidentally brings a giant red T-Rex to her home on the Lower East Side of New York City. Inspired by her own heroes, Lunella becomes a superhero with the help of her new friends, Cassie and Devil Dinosaur, taking on the mantle of Moon Girl.
Lunella quickly learns that living a double life can be challenging, as she hides secrets from her family in order to keep them safe from her superhero escapades. However, season two will put this to the test as Lunella faces even bigger threats after making a name for herself as a hero. Tenant is no stranger to Marvel, having played Kilgrave in the Netflix series Jessica Jones. However, this time he’ll be taking on a more heroic role as an alien dog, protecting the canines of not only Earth but planets beyond. While Moon Girl has faced major threats, including aliens, this is a planet-wide danger. As she takes these next steps as a hero, it seems she’ll be teaming up with other heroes and growing into a major player as one of Earth’s protectors.
Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur stars a powerhouse voice cast led by Diamond White, Fred Tatasciore, Alfre Woodard, Sasheer Zamata, Jermaine Fowler, Gary Anthony Williams, Libe Barer, and Laurence Fishburne, who also serves as an executive producer. Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur was developed for television by Steve Loter, Jeffrey M. Howard, and Kate Kondell. The first season is available now on Disney+.
Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur will premiere on Disney Channel & Disney XD on February 2 with the new episodes debuting on Disney+ the next day.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is an animated series developed by Marvel. It follows the adventures of the two titular heroes: the 13-year-old child genius Lunella Lafayette (Diamond White) and the prehistoric animal Devil Dinosaur (Fred Tatasciore). Laurence Fishburne appears as The Beyonder, a cosmic being with infinite power but little desire to use it.
