WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Loki season 2, episode 4.A Loki season 2 mid-season trailer sets high expectations for the remaining episodes. Following episode 4’s major cliffhanger, Loki season 2’s story appears to be getting even more exciting. The Marvel Cinematic Universe series will be going deeper into what the Temporal Loom’s explosion at the end of Loki season 2, episode 4, means for Tom Hiddleston’s character, the TVA, and all realities.

On Twitter, the official Loki account shared a trailer that teases season 2’s remaining episodes, including major reveals.

Despite the Temporal Loom’s explosion at the end of the latest Loki season 2 episode, the new trailer reveals that the main characters all survive the ordeal. The status of Loki season 2’s characters is not the only big surprise revealed by the mid-season trailer, as Loki says, “The TVA is gone.”

What To Expect From Loki Season 2’s Final Episodes

Despite having died in Loki season 2, episode 4’s ending, Jonathan Majors’ Victor Timely was teased to return in the final two episodes of the season. The Loki season 2 mid-season trailer teased that Loki will get the band back together to fix the disarray caused by the Temporal Loom’s explosion and bring back the TVA. Amid a series of quick cuts, Timely appears, which leaves the road open for him to turn into He Who Remains, as the show has teased might be what is in play.

There are multiple scenes that have yet to appear in the series that made their way into the trailer. It seems like the Temporal Loom’s explosion did not kill Loki season 2’s main cast but rather spread them over different timelines — and that Loki was the one to recruit the TVA members originally. Owen Wilson’s Mobius M. Mobius might finally get his chance to ride a jet ski, as Loki is seen meeting him at a water sports shop. Mobius is shown to work there, which could mean that is his original place outside the TVA that he had never tried to learn about, explaining his love for jet skis.

After seemingly being cured of his time slipping in Loki season 2’s premiere, Hiddleston’s God of Mischief can be seen slipping through time again in the new Loki season 2 trailer. That will undoubtedly play an important role in the two upcoming episodes that close out the show’s second season. With the TVA gone, the characters scattered, Loki time slipping, and Miss Minutes’ nefarious plans with Ravonna Renslayer, Loki season 2’s final episodes promise to be as exciting, if not more, than what has come before.
