A new The Marvels clip shows heroes fighting in one of the movie’s many set pieces. The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will unite Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau. The Marvels‘ cast is not the only exciting part about the film, which is rumored to include ramifications for the Multiverse Saga through major cameos, artifacts, and more.

As had been previously revealed by the post-credits scene of Ms. Marvel‘s final episode and The Marvels‘ first trailer, the upcoming MCU movie will feature Carol, Kamala, and Monica switching places whenever they use the powers. The new clip from The Marvels features Carol and Kamala switching places between Kamala’s home, a spaceship, and the SABER space station, with Nick Fury and Kamala’s family also fighting the alien combatants.
What To Expect From The Marvels
The Marvels will build upon multiple Disney+ series, making it one of the most interconnected MCU movies yet. Both Kamala and the older version of Monica were introduced in the MCU’s TV shows, with Vellani leading Ms. Marvel and Parris debuting in the beloved WandaVision. Both MCU heroes got their powers in the aforementioned series, with the two going into The Marvels with very different stances on the movie’s other hero, Larson’s Captain Marvel.
On the one hand, Kamala is an Avengers super fan and an even bigger Captain Marvel fan, which makes her dynamic with Carol one of the most anticipated aspects of the film. On the other hand, WandaVision revealed that Monica holds a grudge against Carol due to her spending a lot of time in space and abandoning Monica when her mother, Carol’s best friend Maria, got sick. The Marvels will have to deal with Carol’s explanation for her absence and her making it up for Monica.
Another series that impacts The Marvels is Secret Invasion, in which Fury stopped a Skrull invasion on Earth. The Skrulls only attacked due to Fury and Carol not having fulfilled their promise of finding them a new home. The Marvels‘ villain is Zawe Ashton’s complex Dar-Benn, who carries the same kind of Universal Weapon that Ronan the Accuser did in Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel. With a powerful villain, interesting dynamics between its heroes, and exciting action scenes such as the one shown in the new clip, The Marvels is shaping up to be a great addition to the MCU.
